The genetic gains that Artificial Insemination (AI) can offer sheep producers are almost unlimited. AI is the gateway to the use of top sires, both domestic and international. It offers progressive producers the opportunity to make previously unimagined genetic gains in a very short period of time. 

We are currently taking deposits towards collected purebred Valais Blacknose semen, available for purchase as straws, through our sister company, Super Sire Ltd, founded by Pure Valais Team members Martin and Joy Dally.

Atlas is one of the first US-born purebred Valais Blacknose rams to be collected, offering a new line of top notch genetics to US producers in the upgrading program. Pure Valais Atlas has a wonderful, gentle disposition and excellent conformation.

His sire is Parkdale Basil, a New Zealand born ram, who is sired by Prendwick Basil from the UK. Prendwick Basil's pedigree is pure Swiss. Parkdale Basil's dam is Prendwick Dakota, a ewe sired by Prendwick Eros, a beautiful ram imported directly from Switzerland.

Atlas's dam, Remarkable Anastasia, is sired by Highland Montana and also sports a full Swiss pedigree.
