Contessina

Contessina is an unusual, but highly valued Spiti. The name Spiti was adopted from Swiss Blacknose breeders as a means to identify Valais Blacknose sheep with mis-markings or reverse colors. Spiti’s are perfectly capable of producing a classically marked Valais, just as a perfectly marked Valais is capable of producing a Spiti.
